6061 aluminum coil is the most versatile heat-treatable aluminum alloy. Although the strength is not as good as most 2xxx and 7xxx alloys. But 6061 aluminum coil provides a wide range of mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. And can be manufactured by many common practices. Under “O” tempering or annealing conditions, 6061 alloy aluminum coil has good formability. Under T4 conditions, very violent molding can be carried out. Under T6 conditions, performance can be obtained through artificial aging.
