Comprehensive Quality Control & Inspection

Chemical Composition Analysis:
Before casting, every heat batch is tested using Optical Emission Spectrometers (OES). This guarantees the exact alloy purity (e.g., correct Magnesium and Silicon levels in 6061) and ensures you get 100% primary aluminum performance.

Precision Thickness & Dimensional Control:
We strictly control thickness tolerances using inline laser gauges (e.g., standard ±0.02mm for thin sheets). We reject extreme negative tolerances meant to cheat on weight. What you order is exactly what we deliver.

Dead-Flat Surface for Laser Cutting:
Internal stress in aluminum can cause it to warp when cut. We process our sheets through advanced tension leveling machines to relieve internal stress. The result is a dead-flat surface that will never jam your fiber laser cutters or stamping presses.

Ultrasonic Testing (UT) for Thick Plates:
For thick structural plates (especially 5083, 6061, and 7075 series), we conduct Ultrasonic Flaw Detection to ensure there are no internal micro-cracks, porosity, or slag inclusions that could cause the metal to fail under heavy stress.

Traceability & Certification:
Every single pallet is labeled with a unique heat/lot number for full traceability. An official Mill Test Certificate (MTC) showing the actual chemical and mechanical test results is provided before shipment. We also fully support Third-Party Inspections (TPI) by SGS, BV, or DNV.

Packaging Standards

Moisture oxidation (white rust) and edge damage during a 30-day ocean transit can ruin a whole container of aluminum. Our packaging rules are strict and standardized:

  1. Waterproof Wrapping: Sheets are wrapped in plastic film and thick brown kraft paper. Silica gel desiccants are placed inside to absorb any trapped moisture.
  2. Edge Protection: Hardboard edge protectors are applied to all corners to prevent the steel strapping from cutting into the metal.
  3. Solid Pallets: The cargo is fastened onto fumigated wooden pallets with heavy-duty steel strips.
  4. Weight Limit Option: Standard pallets weigh around 2 tons. If your warehouse forklift can only lift 1.5 tons, simply inform us before production. We will adjust the pallet weight to fit your unloading equipment.

Packaging Standards

Common Problems Of Aluminum Sheet

Q: What are aluminum sheets used for?

A: It is commonly used for cookware and for packaging in the food and beverage industry. Aluminum sheet is also often used for the bodies and framing of motor vehicles. This metal sheet is also often used in the building and construction industry for items that include sidings, drains, and much more.

Q: How strong is Aluminum?

A: Despite its low density, Aluminum is incredibly strong and can be stronger than steel and stainless steel per pound.
If a beam constructed of steel were replaced by one from 6061 Aluminum, it could be half as heavy whilst still being able to support the same load. Many safety-critical components for aircraft, cars, motorbikes, and bicycles are made from Aluminum.

Q: Does Aluminum rust?

A: Another big benefit of Aluminum is that it does not rust in the same way Steel does; this is due to the lack of Iron in Aluminum alloy. Aluminum does oxidize, however, but only in specific circumstances and does not cause the same structural issues as with steel.
Because Aluminum does not rust, there are large savings available in not having to paint or finish the parts to prevent corrosion. This also means parts can last longer without the need for repainting or replacement due to corrosion.

Q: Is Aluminum easy to weld?

A: The workability of Aluminum is one of its greatest strengths; thanks to the wide variety of grades and heat treatment processes, there is almost no process that cannot be adapted to work efficiently with Aluminum sheets.

Q: What is the function of aluminium sheet?

A: It is commonly used for cookware and for packaging in the food and beverage industry. Aluminum sheet is also often used for the bodies and framing of motor vehicles. This metal sheet is also often used in the building and construction industry for items that include sidings, drains, and much more.

Q: What are the advantages of using aluminium as a construction material?

A: Aluminium is widely used in building because of its intrinsic properties of lightness and corrosion resistance. Aluminum is used in external facades, roofs and walls; in windows and doors; in staircases, railings, shelves, and other several applications

Q: How do you maintain aluminum?

A: If being stored for extended periods, aluminium should be lightly oiled and stored vertically to ensure air circulation over all surfaces. Aluminium should be stored indoors, in a clean, dry, dust- and contaminant-free environment and not be in contact with other materials.

Q: How do I choose aluminium grade?

A: Important factors
Formability or Workability
Weldability
Machining
Corrosion Resistance
Heat Treating
Strength
Typical end-use applications

Q: What is the Difference Between 6061 and 5052 Aluminum?

A: Aluminum is a highly versatile and valuable material due to its corrosion resistance, lightweight, and high tensile strength. Two of the most popular aluminum alloys are 6061 and 5052. These alloys contain varying amounts of other elements, giving them mechanical properties that tailor them to different applications. For example, 5052 aluminum is easier to form and bend without cracking.
On the other hand, 6061 aluminum is easily extruded into shapes like channels, angles, and tees, and it can undergo heat treatment, which gives it superior strength and hardness. However, both types of aluminum maintain certain similarities, including the ability to be anodized, which increases corrosion resistance or, if desired, adds a colored finish.

Q: What is the purpose of an aluminum plate?

A: Aluminum plate is most often used for heavy-duty applications, particularly in transportation product manufacturing, aerospace, and military industries.

Q: How long does an aluminum sheet last?

A: You usually paint it or dip-galvanize it or cadmium-plate it, and then it can last 50 years easily. Aluminum can be left out and it will be fine for 50 years; it will do better if painted or anodized. Stainless steel can last nearly forever.

Q: Are aluminum sheets and foil the same thing?

A: Aluminum sheets and foil are often confused with one another, but they are actually two different types of aluminum products. Aluminum foil is much thinner than sheet metal, and it is generally used for wrapping food or other items, rather than for construction or manufacturing applications.

Q: What are the benefits of using aluminum sheets?

A: They are lightweight but strong, making them ideal for use in a variety of applications.
They are resistant to corrosion and other types of damage.
They can be easily formed or cut into the desired shape.
They reflect heat and light.

Q: How are aluminium sheets made?

A: Aluminium is currently extracted exclusively from raw bauxite, an ore found in heavy clay-like soil types several meters below the surface of the ground. This ore is then refined in a hot lime and caustic soda solution, producing alumina, a white oxide powder. When combined with electricity and carbon (to create CO₂) at high temperatures, this oxide produces the liquid metal we call aluminium.
This liquid metal is then formed into different sorts of ingots or alloys, depending on what its eventual application will be. Aluminium intended for tubes, rods, sheets, and angles is usually formed into ingots that can measure up to 20 feet in length (and weigh up to 20 tons!) but which have extremely formable (ductile) properties. This makes it easy to roll or press them under varying temperatures and pressures to produce plates, sheets, foils, and other forms of almost any useful thickness.

Q: Why use aluminium instead of steel?

A: Aluminum is a very desirable metal because it is more malleable and elastic than steel. Aluminum can go places and create shapes that steel cannot, often forming deeper or more intricate spinnings. Especially for parts with deep and straight walls, aluminum is the material of choice.

Q: What processing can happen after you have an aluminum metal sheet?

A: Blanking & Multi-Blanking
Blanking is a process that involves cutting the aluminum sheets into specific shapes or blanks as per the requirements. Multi-blanking combines cut-to-length and slit-to-width processes. Blanking offers excellent dimensional control, accuracy, and repeatability along with straight, superior finished edges.
Coil Coating (Prepainting)
In coil coating, a protective coating is applied to the aluminum sheet coils to enhance durability, aesthetics, and resistance to environmental factors. Coated aluminum is commonly used in the food packaging, interior decoration, and building and construction industries.
Cut to Length
Aluminum sheets are cut to precise lengths as needed for a particular application. The sheets can be straight cut or miter cut.
