For thick plate we commonly supply the following series:
1xxx: 1050, 1060 - soft, corrosion resistant, good for general use
3xxx: 3003, 3004 - moderate strength, good formability
5xxx: 5052, 5083, 5754 - marine grade, good welding, used in vessels and tanks
6xxx: 6061, 6082 - structural grade, good machining and welding
7xxx: 7075 - high strength, used for tooling and mould plates
Standard tempers include O, H111, H112, H116, H321, T6 and T651. Not every temper is available for every alloy. Tell us your application and we will recommend the right combination.

Applications of Thick Aluminium Sheet
Thick aluminium plate is used where strength and weight both matter:
Building structures and curtain walls
Machinery frames and equipment bases
Pressure vessels and storage tanks, including fuel and oil tanks
Mould and die plates (5083, 7075 tooling plate)

We do not list speculative or extreme-use cases. Tell us your working conditions - temperature, load, corrosion exposure - and we will suggest the right alloy and temper.
How to Choose the Right Alloy
For welding and marine use, 5083 and 5754 are common choices.
For structural frames, 6061-T6 offers good strength and machining.
For mould and tooling plates, 7075 or 5083 with tight flatness is typical.
For low-cost general parts, 1050 or 3003 is usually enough.
If you are not sure which to use, tell us the end use and we will advise.
Quality and certification
Every shipment comes with an MTC showing the heat number and mechanical results. Third-party inspection such as SGS can be arranged on request. Material meets common certification standards including ASTM B209 and EN 485 where applicable, and we can supply a Certificate of Origin. If your project requires a specific standard, write it in your inquiry.
Packaging and shipping
Plates are separated by paper or film, bundled on seaworthy wooden pallets, and strapped for export. Long or heavy pieces go in wooden cases. We ship from Tianjin, Shanghai and Qingdao, and can work with your nominated forwarder.

Q: What aluminium alloys can you supply as thick plate?
A: Commonly 5052, 5083, 5754, 6061, 6082 and 7075, plus 1050, 1060 and 3003. Send your required alloy and temper and we will confirm stock and lead time.
Q: What is your MOQ?
A: MOQ is flexible. We accept small trial orders as well as full containers. The final MOQ depends on alloy and thickness.
Q: What is the lead time?
A: Normally 15–30 days after order confirmation, depending on specification and quantity.
Q: Can you provide samples?
A: Yes. Small stock samples are free. Custom-cut samples take about 5–7 days.
Q: How do you control quality?
A: MTC is supplied with each shipment, and third-party inspection is available on request.
Q: What payment and trade terms do you offer?
A: We work with T/T and L/C, and trade terms FOB, CIF or CFR from Qingdao, Shanghai or Tianjin. Final terms are confirmed per order.
Q: Which certification standards can you meet?
A: We supply to common standards such as ASTM B209 and EN 485, with MTC and Certificate of Origin. If you need a specific standard, list it in your inquiry.
