What is aluminum foil?
Aluminum foil, often referred to as aluminum foil, is a type of aluminum alloy foil. Aluminum foil is typically rolled into a very thin, flexible and highly ductile material that can be used in a variety of applications including packaging, cooking, construction and electrical insulation.

Is aluminum foil aluminum?
Yes, aluminum foil is made of aluminum metal. Made of the same material as aluminum foil, it has excellent thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance and is lightweight. Aluminum foil paper has a soft texture and is easily deformed, just like paper, and does not rebound after deformation. It can be characterized, guaranteed to be shading, will not fall off, is opaque, pollution-free, and is cheap. Used for moisture-proof and decorative packaging of high-end cigarettes, candies and other foods.
Aluminum foil paper manufacturing process
Aluminum foil is continuously cast, which consumes far less energy and has become the process of choice. For aluminum foils less than 0.025 mm thick, the two layers are usually put together for a final pass and then separated to form an aluminum foil with one shiny side and one matte side. The contact surface is matte and the outside is glossy; this is done to reduce tearing, increase productivity, control thickness and meet the need for smaller diameter rollers.

Aluminum foil alloy
Aluminum foil paper is usually made of various aluminum alloys, and the alloys used mainly include 1000, 3000, and 8000 series.
Main alloy types of aluminum foil
1100: Aluminum foil is a commercially pure aluminum alloy commonly used in general-purpose aluminum foil. It has good formability and wide application range.
1235: 1235 aluminum foil alloy is often used in packaging and has excellent formability and corrosion resistance. Aluminum Foil 1235 is commonly used in the production of household foils and flexible packaging.
8011: 8011 is a general-purpose alloy with good strength and formability. 8011 aluminum foil is widely used in manufacturing household foils, pharmaceutical packaging and various industrial applications.
8021: 8021 alloy is known for its excellent barrier properties and is suitable for protecting sensitive products such as pharmaceuticals and food. 8021 aluminum foil is commonly used in blister packaging and laminated foil.
3003: 3003 aluminum foil is often used in specific applications where its properties are beneficial.
