1000 series aluminum alloys belong to industrial pure aluminum (purity ≥ 99.0%). Its typical representatives, such as 1050/1060/1100, achieve performance regulation by controlling the impurity content of iron (Fe) and silicon (Si) (total amount <1.0%). This series has three core characteristics:
Super corrosion resistance: The naturally formed aluminum oxide film (2-5nm) on the surface makes it stable in the C5 marine environment, and there is no pitting in the salt spray test for 480 hours
Excellent processing performance: The elongation of the annealed state (O state) can reach 35%, and the elongation of the cold-rolled H18 state can still maintain more than 5%
Outstanding electrical and thermal conductivity: electrical conductivity 59-61% IACS, thermal conductivity 237W/(m·K), which is 56% of copper
