Aluminum 6063 is a medium strength aluminum alloy often referred to as an architectural alloy. It is often used for complex extrusions. It has a good surface finish, high corrosion resistance, is suitable for welding, and is easily anodized. It is most commonly found in the T6 temper, and in the T4 condition it has good formability.

Features of 6063A Aluminium
Corrosion Resistance
6063 aluminum has excellent corrosion resistance due to its ability to form an oxide layer on the surface that prevents further oxidation. It is one of the materials of choice for outdoor applications that may be exposed to harsh environments such as high humidity or salty marine atmospheres.
Heat Resistance
6063 aluminum has excellent heat resistance. It can withstand temperatures up to 1000 degrees Celsius and can be used in high-temperature environments such as aerospace components or industrial machinery parts that need to be used at high temperatures for a long time without corroding or losing structural integrity over time.
Machining
Machining aluminum alloys is often challenging because they are very easy to deform under high cutting speeds or high cutting forces. Extra care must be taken when machining 6063 aluminum alloy because it is harder than pure aluminum alloys.
Consider using low speeds and low feed pressures when cutting, as well as cooling lubricants to reduce deformation and hardness.
