In terms of mechanical properties, the tensile strength of 1100 aluminum bar is usually between 110-136MPa, the elongation is 3%-5%, and the density is 2.71g/cm³, which makes it an ideal choice for applications that require good formability but do not require high strength.
Since it cannot be strengthened by heat treatment, 1100 aluminum bar is mainly improved by cold processing such as extrusion and stretching, which also makes it show excellent plasticity during processing.
