Commonly Used States For Aluminum Rod Processing

F state: free processing state. It is suitable for products that have no special requirements for work hardening and heat treatment conditions during the molding process. The mechanical properties of the product in this state are not specified.
O state: annealing state. Suitable for processed products that have been completely annealed to obtain lower strength.

Commonly used states for aluminum rod processing

o1--A state in which the processed material is kept at approximately the same temperature as the solution treatment for an equal time, and then slowly cooled to room temperature;
o2---The state of the material after deformation treatment. This treatment is to improve the formability of the material for superplastic processing (SPF);
o3---The state after homogenization treatment.
H state: work hardening state. It is suitable for products whose strength is increased through work hardening. After work hardening, the product may or may not undergo additional heat treatment that reduces the strength. (For marine alloys, such as 5083, 5383, 5456, 5059 and other alloys, the commonly used heat treatment states are H321 and H116 states)

Commonly used states for aluminum rod processing

W state: solid solution treatment state. An unstable state that is only applicable to alloys that have been naturally aged at room temperature after solution treatment. This status code only indicates that the product is in the natural aging stage.
T state: suitable for products that have been stabilized through (or not through) work hardening after heat treatment. The T code must be followed by one or more Arabic numerals. The first digit after the T indicates the basic type of heat treatment (from 1 to 10), and subsequent digits indicate changes in heat treatment details.
