Household aluminum foil is a common daily necessities, and its main material is aluminum alloy. Aluminum foil is usually produced using three alloys: AA3003, AA8011 and AA8079. The most common one is AA8011 alloy.
AA3003 alloy is a Mn alloy containing 1.0%~1.5% Mn, 0.6% Si, and a small amount of Fe, Cu and other elements. It has good corrosion resistance, formability and welding performance, and is widely used to make air conditioner radiators, oil tanks, fuel tanks, etc.

AA8011 alloy is an Al-Fe-Si alloy containing 0.5%~0.9% Fe, 0.25% Si and a small amount of Cu, Mg and other elements. It has good toughness and ductility and is suitable for making food packaging materials, containers, lids, etc.
AA8079 alloy is an Al-Zn-Mg alloy containing 0.12%~0.15% Zn, 0.05% Mg and a small amount of Cu, Fe and other elements. It has high strength, high elastic modulus and good corrosion resistance, and is suitable for making various composite packaging materials.
