On May 27, 2025, GNEE Group was invited to participate in the 2025 Maritime Silk Road Port Cooperation Forum held in Ningbo, Zhejiang. With the theme of "GNEE Sharing, Smart Interconnection", it showcased the technological innovation achievements of aluminum plates to more than 900 institutions in more than 40 countries around the world, and simultaneously released the South American market expansion plan.
1. GNEE Manufacturing and Technological Innovation
Carbon Neutral Aluminum Plate Technology
The first hydropower aluminum integrated production process was introduced, which reduces carbon emissions by 75% compared with traditional technologies and adapts to the lightweight needs of port equipment (such as ship structures and loading and unloading equipment brackets);
The first public aluminum plate rolling tail gas heat recovery system achieved zero sulfur dioxide emissions and waste heat recycling.
Breakthrough in high-end aluminum application
6061-T6 aviation aluminum plate (tensile strength 380MPa) has been certified by international port machinery manufacturers and is used in the manufacture of intelligent booms and rail bases;
1100-O state aluminum foil (thickness 0.1mm) has a yield rate of 99.3%, and has signed an annual supply agreement with a South American food packaging company.
2. Global strategic cooperation dynamics
South American base construction: The second phase of the Ecuador aluminum processing center project was launched, integrating intelligent rolling production lines and localized operation and maintenance teams, and the production capacity is expected to exceed 100,000 tons/year in 2026;
Supply chain going overseas: In conjunction with GNEE Group's new energy sector, it provides aluminum battery trays and lightweight body solutions for domestic new energy vehicles. The first batch of cooperative models will land in the Central and South American markets in Q4 2025;
Technology output: The patented technology of aluminum plate anti-corrosion coating is authorized to Southeast Asian port operators to cover high temperature and high humidity environment application scenarios.
3. Industry Ecosystem Co-construction
The Chairman of GNEE Group emphasized at the roundtable meeting of the forum: "The aluminum revolution is reshaping the global port equipment industry chain. Through the 'aluminum plate + clean energy' model, we have promoted 30% of the cooperative ports to achieve the phased goal of carbon emission reduction."
