‌Ecuadorian Aluminum Delegation Visits GNEE Group

On May 27, 2025, the Ecuadorian Aluminum Delegation arrived at the Anyang headquarters of GNEE Group to conduct in-depth exchanges on aluminum plate technology research and development, green smart manufacturing and localized cooperation. This visit is a continuation and deepening of the China-Ecuador aluminum industry chain cooperation, and is also a key measure for GNEE to layout the South American market.

‌Technology docking and achievement display‌
‌High-end aluminum plate technology breakthrough‌
On-site demonstration of 6061-T6 aviation-grade aluminum plate rolling process, with a tensile strength of 380MPa, suitable for the lightweight design of new energy vehicles and building curtain wall structure requirements (elongation ≥12%, hardness 95HB);
Simultaneously display 1100-O state aluminum foil (thickness 0.1mm) continuous cold rolling production line, the finished product yield rate reached 99.3%, meeting the cost reduction and efficiency improvement needs of Ecuador's food packaging industry.
‌Green and Low-carbon Practice‌
The delegation visited the GNEE hydropower aluminum integrated production line, which reduced carbon emissions by 75% compared with traditional processes, and its annual production capacity exceeded 500,000 tons;
The world's first aluminum plate production tail gas recovery system was unveiled for the first time, achieving zero sulfur dioxide emissions and thermal energy recycling.
‌Signing and Strategic Layout‌
‌First phase of trade agreement‌: Signed an export order of 5,000 tons of 1100-O aluminum foil, targeted supply to Ecuador's leading food packaging company
‌Localized investment‌: Launched the Ecuadorian aluminum processing center preparation plan, and introduced GNEE rolling technology standards and intelligent management systems;
Cooperation statement and prospects‌
The Ecuadorian delegation said: "GNEE's aluminum plate technology innovation and green practice are highly consistent with my country's clean energy development strategy. The cooperation between the two sides will promote the upgrading of the South American aluminum processing industry, and it is expected that the localized production capacity will cover 60% of the regional demand in 2026."

The chairman of the GNEE Group emphasized: "This cooperation is not only an extension of trade, but also an output of technical standards and sustainable development concepts. We will use the aluminum plate business as a fulcrum to link the group's horticulture and new energy sectors to jointly build a China-Ecuador industrial collaborative ecology."
